Could be a beginner question about Chroma Keyer…
Hey guys, is there a way to chroma key a scene without it affecting certain parts? I’m doing it on an animated cartoon bee – green screen video, but the eyes’ iris are green so it got affected in every part of the VEFX threshold slider. Wondering what’s the alternative or a good tweak to this, similar to Photoshop’s manual lasso extraction maybe, thanks a bunch!

Yeah, in this case I’d use a mask rather than trying to find a Chroma Keyer setting that completely ignores the green in the eyes. Apply the Chroma Keyer normally to remove the green screen, then use a Bézier mask to exclude the iris area from the key. If the bee moves, you can keyframe the mask or use motion tracking so it stays over the eyes.
