Zoom-in VEGAS PRO
I’m working on a video in VEGAS Pro and want to create a smooth, gradual zoom-in on part of a clip. I’ve tried using keyframes, but the movement sometimes looks a little weird or speeds up in a way I don’t want. What’s the best way to set up the keyframes and easing so the zoom starts and stops smoothly?

Hey, the best way(in my opinion) Is to use only two keyframes(the beginning one where the thing is normal) and another one at the end where its zoomed out. Don’t forget to right click on the keyframes and select “smooth” for a perfect zoom in. That’s the way I do it. Hope it helps!

Yes, use either pan/crop or track motion (the latter would probably be easiest).
And yes, I’d say use only two keyframes, and make sure motion type is “Smooth”.
If it’s still not slow enough, you can use a tool like Fusion to do the same thing, but it’ll also give you control handles to exaggerate the slow in/slow out from its default setting.
