And we don’t have all the phones and apps people might use to record. On Android had to use OpenCamera and in settings put 240 FPS and set Speed to 1X to record audio+video that shows up without putting 30P in video metadata. Otherwise, camera app puts 30P in mp4 metadata which is then ambiguous. For example, the iPhone with sound recording at same time might produce an average of 176,8 FPS – and without that value, it’s a bit opaque what the actual source rate is. I read ln Android maybe ProShot also allows that (haven’t tried). This only an issue if you need audio. We will add an extra control in Audio: I think, so user can more easily reset a part of sequence to normal speed and speed ramp to capture rate or even higher…

OK 8.1.1 is out, it now has a way to turn off pitch correction which is needed for Android Camera App as the video will come in marked at 30P with slow-mo audio, so if you want to put back a section at normal speed, it is necessary to turn off pitch correction.
