Panavision welcomes Fritz Heinzle as Vice President of Sales

Heinzle will support Panavision’s global growth strategy, expanding new business opportunities and broadening customer relationships worldwide.

Panavision, a market-leading provider of production solutions for the global entertainment industry, has announced the appointment of Fritz Heinzle as Vice President of Sales. Reporting to Chief Revenue Officer Sherri Potter, Heinzle will be based out of Panavision’s Woodland Hills headquarters, where he will support the company’s global sales initiatives.

As Vice President of Sales, Heinzle will help drive global revenue growth and support technical sales of camera systems and lenses, with a focus on developing new business opportunities. He will collaborate closely with Panavision’s rental teams around the world to establish new customer relationships while reinforcing the company’s longstanding support for existing clients.

“Fritz brings a renowned combination of technical expertise, leadership, and strong relationships across the industry,” Potter said. “His experience navigating complex sales environments will be key as Panavision continues to grow and expand into new business areas. His passion for the motion-picture industry, and for going above and beyond for filmmakers, is contagious.”

Heinzle brings more than three decades of industry experience to his new role. Born in Austria, he studied automotive engineering before transitioning into the film industry as a camera technician on film sets. In 1996, he brought his hands-on problem-solving skills and passion for technical precision to Hollywood, joining Otto Nemenz International as a camera technician. In nearly 30 years with Otto Nemenz, Heinzle became the company’s Executive Vice President. Heinzle is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and an associate member of the American Society of Cinematographers.

“I’m thrilled to join the Panavision team, whom I’ve known and respected and considered colleagues throughout my career,” Heinzle said. “The motion-picture industry continues to evolve with the emergence of new technologies and business models, which present exciting opportunities for Panavision and our customers. I’m eager to explore these new horizons across all the markets Panavision serves as we continue to support and inspire filmmakers around the world.”
