Oh my God, I am so frustrated. Ever since I upgraded to Alienware i9 with nVidia 4080 Super, Vegas just randomly places green flashes/interference/artifacts in my video. It’s not there when I start, then it just appears for no reason on another playback a few minutes later. No editing. No tweaking. It just decides to show up randomly. I have even changed video settings as per my research. I can only fix it by trimming the video or deleting from the timeline and reinserting it. This is ridiculous. So many freaking bugs with this software… since version 6 when I started multiple machines ago.

    Hey John,

That looks like a hard-drive, video driver, or maybe that the video card needs an extra push into the slot issue.

Do you get green flashes if you run the same footage in an external player, like VLC or similar?
And, same if you export the clip, does it export with the green flashes?

I have yet to install my VEGAS on my new Alienware PC, but will look to do that soon.
