Automating long text lists in different comps/outputs
Hi all!
I need to make a bunch of compositions of crawling text that vary in number of lines of text. They all need to start scrolling after a certain amount of time and then scroll at the same speed. This should result in compositions of different durations. Is there a way to automate (whether using a plugin, essential graphics etc) the input of those names (although copy pasting 50 lists isn’t a deal breaker) as well as the output based on these different durations. There are about 50 of these compositions that need to be made and I’d prefer not to have to set them up all manually. I’m currently looking for solutions in After Effects but I would be open to using Premiere if that could work. Thanks!

To automate tasks like this in After Effects, you can use Essential Graphics for easy text control and expressions to manage the scrolling effect. For large-scale automation, consider using scripts that can batch-create compositions or handle text import.
