  AE CC 2017 – Tracking Motion: link obscured tracker

  Hallo everybody,
  I tracked a Bus in a shot where the bus is two times obscured by two trees…:

  

  So I had to create 3 different Trackers (Track Motion / Transform / Position).
  But Ho can I link them together to create a unique single tracker (interpolate where is was obscured…) so that I can then apply a Null layer as Edit target and finally parent to it a text or a graphic?

  Apply the tracks to 3 nulls and parent the nulls in a chain: First track null is the child, second track null is the parent and third track null is the parent of the second track null. Now your first track null moves the entire length of the three tracks, and you can parent other things like text or graphics to it.

  Hi Kalle…,
  thanks for your reply but i found maybe a easier solution:

  

  I simply stopped tracking where the object obscures the Auto going forward only with the playhead for all “obscured” frames.
