    Hi all,

I’ve spent a good few hours trying to minimise the annoying noise in the background at the end of this clip using Audition (focusing on soundwaves to reduce volume, using sound remover) but my efforts haven’t been particularly successful. I hate to ask but wondered if anyone within this great community might be kind enough to take pity on a newbie in the world of sound design and lend a hand? Thanks and apologies again!

    Hey John,

Sadly, there is little or no investment in Audition by Adobe.

    Have you got Premiere Pro?
Maybe the audio noise reduction in there will sort it out for you – I know, one would have thought that the audio editing software would get first upgrade on audio tools – but not in Adobe land.

Alternatives are Izotope RX Elements (VST), although you can go big:
    https://www.izotope.com/en/shop/rx-elements/

Or surprise, surprise, drop your clip into this webpage
    https://podcast.adobe.com/enhance
and it will sound like the file included below.

If you are not a subscriber to Adobe, convert to audio file format like MP3 (which I used), and it should be free for you to use.

    Hope that this helps?

    Hi Mads,

Thanks for your suggestions and for the tweak, it’s much appreciated!

    Kind regards

    John
