    Hi,
before, After Effects could export a .DV file (dv stream) from the file/export menu (not render queue) . I can’t find this on After Effects CC 2018.

How can I export a .DV file from After Effects ?

    Thanks.

Adobe’s Media Encoder may render/export a DV stream.

I know mpeg streamclip will (free). using streamclip means you’ll need to render out the comp in some other codec/format (like prores, lossless animation, etc.) and then compress it to dv (i think there are 3 to choose from: dv, dvcpro25 and dvcpro50)

    Thank you Kevin.

Adobe Media Encoder doesn’t do it. But MPEG Streamclip does. Your reply was very helpful.
