After more than half a century in the bizz (U-Matic/1 inch/Betacam/DVCAM, HD Canon/Sony, 4K Canon/Lumix) I returned to Sony (a6700) and I’d faced my later challenge, filming with LUTs.

I do Wildlife, I ended up using 709 in the camera and sLog2 v1 from Sony in FCPX.

My problem is that I still do not get the wildlife looks I used to have all decades back, tried a lot of Luts from Sony, Canon and others but I am not happy.

Have not experimented with a different lut in the camera to avoid putting in the game another variable.

Any advise will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The solution came from another forum: S-Cinetone, Picture Profile 11, I am back on track, I’ll reserve a spot for slog3 when I’d need a big dynamic range.
