Tracking + Remove troubles
Hi all….
I’m having trouble removing objects from a shot (I’m in Mocha Pro hosted in After Effects 2023).
I think I’m following the steps right: 1. track and mask occlusions, 2. track the object to be removed, 3. track the floor and then the wall, 4. render from the remove module.
Even with a clean plate, literally nothing happens – no inserted plate, no remove / replace of any kind!
Mocha Pro’s Help suggests the planar track being “bad or incomplete” is often the issue. I’m attaching screen grabs that show the range of the movement of the floor’s planar track – pretty wide / wild looking to me, but I was sure I did all the steps right. Famous last words.
I’m sort of new to Mocha and tracking and general, so I’m not even sure if I’m troubleshooting the right way. I’m sure someone out there must have run into this before.

Thanks for your response! It actually turned out to be two things: 1. I found that there was an overlapping occlusion mask right over the object I was removing, and 2. turning off “perspective” on my floor and wall tracks got the planar movement under control.
