• Adobe After Effects Expressions

  Expression errors only for 1 out of 2 people, same file

  Hey!

  Just wrapped up files of an intro I created for a client. It used a bunch of linking, essential graphics and customization done through expressions.
  The file works totally fine for me but my client on the other hand seems to get a few expressions errors. I collected the file and even redownloaded what I sent him in order to double check and it still works for me.

  Were both using After effects 2024 (legally).

  Curious to know what the cause of this might be, happy to send over more details if necessary.

  Hey, have you checked if your client’s After Effects is using the legacy version of the expression language?

  Another possibility is different languages on the program itself, if you’re using it as en_US and he’s using another language, it could cause issues.
