Use marker comment as name for frame renders
Hi all.
I’ve inherited a bit of a nightmare scenario and am trying to solve it without driving myself nuts. I’ve got a comp consisting of over 200 frames, each of which is a lower third or super. I need to output these and each one of them has to have a different name, based on who the l3/super is naming. I could simply output them all as individual frames and then rename the individual files which would be fine if I was guaranteed that I’d only need to do it once (I expect there will be a fair bit of to and fro on this one).
So in order to avoid having to go through the above option a number of times, I’d prefer to go through and set a marker for each frame in the comp and enter the frame “name” in that marker. The question is, is it possible to have an expression or script export frames and apply the corresponding marker name to each frame?
