  After Effects causing blue screen of death when rendering

  My After Effects has been causing blue screen of deaths when rendering through media encoder. It all started recently and I can’t seem to figure out why. The blue screen of death will usually say, Bad_Pool_Header. I render through media encoder at h.264 and the video I was editing was mp4.

  Here are my pc specs:
  OS: Windows 10
  CPU: Ryzen 1800x @3.6ghz
  GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1070
  RAM: 16Gbs of Corsair Vengance DDR4 @2600mhz
  PSU: 650watts
  Motherboard: Gigabyte Gaming 3 GA-AB35
  Storage: WD Blue HD 3Tbs

  The effects I used in my render were transform, s_shake, s_flicker, glow, optics compensation, twitch, rsmb, magic bullet looks, and brightness and contrast.

  I’m not sure any program will be able to crash your system. There’s probably a hardware issue, like overheating or faulty ram that shows during rendering since you’re using more of your resources.
