EOS Standard Lut R5C
Hello,
People may think, “Why would you want to do that?!” but here goes, LOL.
Is there an official EOS Standard LUT for either CLOG-2 or WideDR? I tried a custom one from LUTCalc, but it didn’t look right. I like the overall look of EOS Standard, and it’s 90% there for me. But I would like to have that overall look with the ability to pull out more information in the shadows and roll off the highlights more smoothly. The idea would be to put the LUT after color corrections of the higher dynamic range footage.
I work for a hair care company, and it’s essential to see details even in the darkest darks of black hair. I get those details when shooting CLOG-2, but if I’m shooting EOS standard, either those blacks get crushed, or I blow out the skin way too much.
For some reason, with this profile enabled in the R5C, it doesn’t let me adjust the knee. Also, it would be better for me to be able to adjust in post because I feel like I could be more granular.
The EOS Standard profile in the R5C has a “look file” which is a LUT, seems to apply to WideDR. Is there any way to export that out of the camera for use in post?
Thanks!!
