    Hey all,

I’m looking to achieve the following effect in AE:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NSWB5IcAwI

I have two possible ideas about how this might be accomplished:

    1. Find stock footage of paper shreds with an alpha channel.

    2. Something more complex involving mask animations + ‘Roughen Edges.’

In either case, it looks like I might need to use the Posterize Time effect, too.

    Any ideas? Thanks!!

drawing masks and roughen edges will be less complicated than using stock photos.
