  After Effects just closes, not crashing, just vanishes.

  Am running AE version 2022, but when I switch from third resolution to full(which is 4K) the program just closes without any message. It also happens when I try to render in renderqueue.

  The third-party plugins am running are a lens blur from Boris and Looks from Red Giant.

  Try switching to software render only in File > Project Settings.

  I don’t know for certain, but both Red Giant and Boris have plugins which use your graphics card and maybe previewing at full is enough to crash AE with the competition for resources.
