    Hi,

I will (only on some files) get a lot of small dots and other rubbish on gifs i am rendering from AE thru ME (se example).

Anyone got any idea of how to solve it?
(or thoughts of using another format, publishing animations on digital platforms and web).

    Try another route.

Never had success straight out of AE and never used AME for that.

At times I would export sequences and use PS.

We’ve had much better results using GifGun for GIFs straight out of After Effects:
    https://aescripts.com/gifgun/

But we try to do animation for the web from After Effects by targeting Lottie, via the Bodymovin plugin:
    https://airbnb.design/lottie/

But it seems strange that yo u will have to buy a plugin for 30€, be able doing something that should be pretty standard.
The other options seems better, but that will only work thru browsers right?

Its the nature of the game.

AE was never about GIF animations.

Been doing this since COSA and there is always a workaround.

    Perhaps not!

But with solutions will you use, if you do just want to make small loop animations to use in letterhead, or on websites?

Walter (above in conversation) suggest lottie. But that solution is limited to browsers (Anyway i will have to pay for a premium account on my CMS (Elementor) in order to apply images, to my website from it).

    Thanks!
