Hi – I need to add local time burn-in and not timecode onto some video files. Tried searching, but keep coming up with timecode and countdowns – which won’t work. I need to add a local time, down to seconds. Any way to do this in PPro? Or AE?

    Thanks!

    Hey Todd,

There is an effect in the the Effect panel called “TimeCode” (it may be under obsolete effects).

You can either apply it to one clip, or an adjustment layer across multiple clips.

If memory serves me right, you should be able to program the start time to be your chosen time of day.

Yeah. That’s what I’ll have to do and do some workarounds to get it right. AE Expressions would be better, but I don’t have time to mess with those.

    Thanks for input.
