  Object axis not functional in Cinema 4D Lite R25

  When I create an object in C4D Lite R25 there is a visible axis but it’s not activated, enabling you to drag the object around on one axis or another nor rotate it about an axis. Can this be fixed by a Settings change or is it part of the new R25 workflow?
