Using transform motion tracking, strange positioning after applying
In AE CS5.5, I’m tracking some slight shakes from an interview background and applying them to a static background on a layer underneath.
The tracking works, but after clicking apply and choosing any of the values (X and Y, X, Y), it applies the tracking with some strange positioning… the footage is at an odd angle and half way outside the composition area.
I’ve tried just doing position and rotation, just position etc, but the same thing happens.
It looks like it has the correct tracked movements, just it’s off to the side instead of where it should be.
