  • Lighting a AE scene with an HDRI (IBL)?

    Hi everybody,
there is a way to light with an After Effects (3d) scene a HDRI photo (IBL) ?
I know I can make it using Cineware(C4D) or 3D Elements(Videocopilot) but I ask if is it possible make it without using them:.
For example, I’d like to light a simply 2D graphics and/or 2D text (even if they could be on a 3d layer…) placing on a photo of an environment which I also have a HDRI. If I could light these 2D graphics with a HDRI, I will have a great color of these graphics matching the colors coming from the lighting mood of the original photo.

    Many thanks for a replay.

    Hi D,
It is something I already know (accurate color matching…).
    Okay, many thanks!
