Filming slide photographs
Hey, I am currently making a documentary about an artist and looking for the best way to film the many slides that we have of the artist’s work. I would really appreciate some ideas.

I’ve used a scanner that came with a slide holder specifically to scan slides. Use the highest possible resolution when scanning. If the resulting image is too small to work with, check out Topaz Labs’ Gigapixel AI. It will uprez a file up to 6 times the original resolution, at the same time correcting for noise & blur. The results are great. Most times, the uprez looks better than the original. I own a number of Topaz Lab programs. They have free trials, so you can check it out before purchasing. Also, they constantly update their models every few months, so the results keep improving.

Any good scanner with slide/negative holders should do fine.
I don’t think you need uprez software as even an $80 Epson can scan at greater than 4K resolution.
Nikon even made some scanners years ago just for slides and negatives.
I would scan at double or more the resolution of your video project so you can enlarge, reposition or do moves on the images.
