Color Management Help
I’m trying to do some VFX work on a new project and received some footage with a Color Profile: BT.2020 PQ (9-16-9).
The footage seems to be over exposed, but the thumbnail image the client provided is properly exposed. I’m not sure if it’s how the editor exported it or if there is something wrong with my settings/ display that is clipping the highlights.

you should set the right profile for the footage to view it correctly. see if this help you with color managing your footage. by default after effects is not color managing your footage so without the right profile it may appear “wrong”

Turns out the log footage wasn’t being exported out of premiere to begin with which is why the color profile wasn’t working properly. Great tutorial though!
