Sculpting workflow
Hi there,
I hope you will not be offended by such basic level of my question…The point which I am groping in is the Sculpting workflow. If you sculpt something you have to bake it in the end, which gives you “virtual” object with low geometry and bunch of displacements. As far as I understand it is great for using in some still composition. But what if you want to animate your sculpted object more than just rotating it?
If you sculpt eg. some creature, its limbs actually does not exist to be animated. (There is no real geometry, just displacements.)
And furthermore — second part of my question — is there any way to UV texture such sculpted object? (No real geometry to be unwrapped.)
On Maxon’s web I found this proclamation:
With Cinema 4D’s integrated sculpting you can freeze and deform your sculpted creations without the need to bake them.
Every tutorial ends by backing… I suspect, that this freezing could be the way, but did not found what this really means.Thank you in advance for any ray of light casted to this.
