Multicam clips revert back into sequences
After importing and relinking the multicam source clips from an assist edit project, I realized after doing some tests with them (i.e. – placing markers on them, cutting them into a sequence, and closing them out of the source monitor), some of the multicam clips revert back into sequences.
Some of those multicam clips are only made up of one camera with a shotgun mic track recorded in. Others are two camera or single camera with both camera audio and synced external audio.
At first it appeared the multicam clips with just a single camera and shotgun mic track were the only ones “breaking”. But just before I logged out of my project, one of the two-camera interviews suddenly changed back into a sequence!
Has anyone else come across this and is there a workaround?
