  Can I still use after effects while a video is rendering in media encoder?

  While I’m rendering a video in media encoder. Can I still use after effects and work on another project while another project is rendering in media encoder?

  yes, but it will slow down, depending on your ram

  Yes, as long as you have enough RAM.
