  Close File Opens File

  Weird Problem – when I close a project C4D automatically opens a new, blank project. Can’t seem to find any settings in Preferences to disable. I don’t recall this ever happening, but I am just getting back into C4D on R25 after a couple of years off.

  This is correct – the idea is that you can close all projects but not quit C4D. It’s not so much that it’s a new project staring back at you, it’s more an unpopulated interface now that all the assets have been removed with the close function.
