  How would you recreate this?

  I was asked to recreate this type animation and I do not know how or what was used to create this and could really use some if you have any ideas. It looks like there are small points of light that then create a path around the letters as the letters fade in?

  That looks like a really clever use of Vegas or MAYBE Saber from Video Copilot, but I’d try Vegas first. Apply Vegas to your text layer and set it to be driven by the alpha of the layer and start tweaking!
