It is the new year and my boss is open to spending a bit of money. I was wondering what plug in packages you consider essential? Currently I have Trapcode Shine and 3d Stroke plus a couple of freebies I’ve picked up here or there. Any suggestions would help. BTW I do promos for a sports network.

    Thanks for the help.

Well I don’t have it yet, but if you are after “look” type plug-ins, then 55mm is a must (https://www.digitalfilmtools.com/55mm/). an amazing set of plug ins.

Um, do you have Zaxwerks 3D Invigarator? (https://www.zaxwerks.com), this is cool for promo spots.

If you wanna create awesome water effects Psunami is the one for the job (https://www.digitalanarchy.com/psunami/psunami_main.html).

Get the other trapcode plug ins!

    Check out https://www.walkereffects.com

    What AE do you have?

    Thanks,

I also do promos for a sports network….I use Boris Continuum Complete, I also used to like Final Effects when we were on Mac, we are now PC and our license is too old for the upgrade….
The ultimate plug in for sports though, is the Magic Bullet. Sports look too damn good when they are film. F1 in film look is simply stunning.

BTW….who do you work for ??? I’m at RDS….we are an ESPN affiliate, french language sports station.

    Regards
    Mark

These are the ones I use the most…Zaxwerk’s 3D Invigorator; RE:Vision’s Shade Shape; Knoll Light Factory; Boris Continuum Complete; Digital Anarchy’s Gridlines, Gridsquares, and Hairlines; and Buena Software’s Au Naturel.
