  Can’t create ingest preset in Media Encoder, please help

  So I was trying to create a custom proxy preset for clips with alpha channels, but whenever I hit ‘Save a copy’ after creating an Ingest Preset the window won’t close, and the format turns into ‘Quicktime’, which I cannot import into Premiere Pro. Does anyone know what’s wrong?

  ProRess422HQ does not support RGB + Alpha.

  The settings in the screenshot are not the ones I used, I actually used ProRes4444. I solved the problem by downloading MediaEncoder 2020, for some reason the 2021 version wouldn’t let me create ingest presets.
