  [help]How make a Gradient Ramp effect follow Text

  1. I made a text layer. (“text1”)

  2. Applies Gradient Ramp to “text1”

  3. Gradient Ramp of property Start of Ramp add expression to

  var s = thisLayer;

  var rect = s.sourceRectAtTime();

  toComp([rect.left, rect.top])

  4. Gradient Ramp of property End of Ramp add expression to

  var s = thisLayer;

  var rect = s.sourceRectAtTime();

  x = s.toComp[(rect.left+rect.width,0)][0];

  y= s.toComp([rect.left, 0])[1];

  [x,y]

   

  i want to end of ramp point is perfectly right and bottom.

  plz help me

  I’m not sure this is what you’re after but maybe like this for upper left:

  r = sourceRectAtTime(time,false);
  [r.left, r.top]

  and like this for lower right:

  r = sourceRectAtTime(time,false);
  [r.left + r.width, r.top + r.height]
