    Hi Guys

I’m trying to break an object apart with C4Ds voronoi fracture. I have done this several times before, but always on objects consisting of only one poly group.

Now I’m trying to split an object apart, which consists of two polygroups. One is the coin itself, and the other is the whole bitcoin stuff, wires, and letters that sits on top of it. please see the attached.

As you can see in the attached image, it splits the coin on the one side and the wire stuff on the other.

While this can be useful in most cases, I want the wire stuff to be in the same fracture group as the undelying coin piece, I hope this makes sense. Does anyone know of a technique to achieve this?

    Thanks so much!

If I am understanding you correctly, try placing the two in a boole set to A union B and select “Create single object,” and make the boole a child of the Voronoi Fracture. If I’m NOT understanding you correctly, this will cause the annihilation of all matter in the universe, so be careful.
