  OFFLINE TITLES

  Hello everyone;

  I’m a beginner on Avid and have an issue with titles.
  I consolidated a timeline and imported it into a new avid project using the open bin command on the new project. Everything has relinked perfectly well but I have an issue with three titles.

  There are at least 20 titles that are on the same video track that had no problem when relinking so I dont understand why I have an issue with these three.

  I went to “clip / recreate title media” but it’s greyed out.
  I also tried “create unredenred title media” but it didnt help (I feel like it just created new titles version for the already online titles).

  When I select offline titles and I go to the title effect mode and click edit title, Im asked if I want to promote to marquee. I refuse. Then I can read the title that otherwise appear offline.

  I don’t know how I can save the title from here without changing its name and content !!

  Or if you have an other solution ?

  So, you could open a problem title in the old Title Tool? If so, no problem. Check the appearance and save (or, possibly overcut the new title into the sequence, if needed).
