Pixelation issues in all my exports
I’ve recently been having a problem when rendering animations from after effects through media encoder. When exporting as H264 with all the default settings (match source – high bitrate etc.), the image looks pixelated at random points during the animation. Initially I thought I just needed to crank up the bitrate but that still didn’t work. I think that this is to do with my pc somehow because colleagues haven’t had any issues exporting with my after effects projects. Any ideas?

How is the content created?AI vectors, PSD layers, built-in AE layers?
Not sure if system specs have anything to do with this but heck stranger things have happened 🙂

It’s all been made in illustrator and then converted to shapes in after effects. Here are two images the first one (which looks fine) is just frames before the pixelation starts in the second pic. It’s not like it happens when something particularly complex or movement-heavy is happening. Seems to happen at random points.
