RED with Premiere Pro Workflow/Color
Our team is getting a RED Komodo next week. I am looking for best practices with using RED in Premiere Pro for editing and color. We are moving from Sony cameras to RED. I edit all my footage in Premiere Pro and would like to stay that way if possible. I mostly do all my color in Premiere to make it easy/faster. I understand maybe Resolve would give me a better outcome for color. I am not against doing my edit PP and round tripping and doing my color in Resolve. But I have had issues with round tripping before. If I stay in Premiere for color do I need conversion LUTs? Any thoughts or best practices would be awesome.

You should be fine as long as you’re up to date on your computer setup.
We all have different pref when it comes to color and maybe have had success sticking with Premiere.
I for one use it for editorial only then head over to Resolve for color.
But many of my peers love using Lumetri and no complaints here as far as their output goes.
Are you planning on using LUTs during principal?
