  Audio effect parameters and controls missing after upgrade

  I recently upgraded to Big Sur (11.2.1) and updated FCPx to 10.5.2, as well. After the change, when I drop certain audio effects on clips in the timeline no parameters or controls show up for those effects in the Inspector. The Show/Hide option is there, but no controls and so no way to set keyframes. Channel EQ is one of these effects, as are Compressor and AUGrapicEQ. Any idea why the controls disappeared?
