Hi, I am having a bit of trouble ( as Frank Spencer would say ) I am trying to put a green screen T Rex walking past my front garden but i have a lot of rose trees and i’m not sure how to mask the rose trees to make it look like the TRex is on the road. I’m Pretty new to after effects and was wandering if anyone could help me out.

Not seeing the footage it’s hard to say if trying to pull a color key would work for the foreground elements (flowers, trees, etc).
That would be the fastest way. If not then rotoscoping would be the long way.
