  How to get Shape layer group name from the inside.

  Hello, guys.
  Is there a way, where I can refer to effect by name.
  For example I have bunch of groups in shape layer. On another layer I have bunch of checkbox effects with same names as groups. Can I ask after effect to check if checkbox of an effect with same name as this group is on or off.

  Check please attached picture maybe it will help you to get an idea of what I mean.
  Would appreciate any help.

  Your first line should look something like this:

  x = thisProperty.propertyGroup(3).name;
