    Hello everyone,

Is there any way to rotate only the masked part of the layer? Or maybe there is some other way to do it without masks? I need to get a similar result to the one that is in the picture. There’s one certain place which was circled and the circle was rotated about 160 degrees so I need to do something like that in AE.

    Thank you!

At first glance I would say…

Duplicate the layer, create a circular track matte (rather than a mask), put the duplicate layer’s anchor point in the proper place and rotate the duplicated/matted layer.
