  How to keyframe in this tutorial

  Hi I wondered if anyone could help me please.
  I am trying to follow this after effects tutorial to create the look of writing. The tutorial makes it look pretty simple but he uses a short cut to keyframe which doest appear to work on a mac.

  Does anyone know the shortcut to key frame? Or where I would click to keyframe?

  I even asked adobe…they don’t know urgh

  The shortcut for creating keyframes on a Mac is Option (and then what you want) Such as Option-P for a position keyframe or Option-R for a rotation keyframe.

  I have to say, that tutorial felt like a lot of work and not flexible. I prefer this: https://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/graffiti_writing/

  You can bail after 4 minutes.
