    Hello AE geniuses,

At :41 of the embedded youtube clip, there is what I am describing as a “2D stroke in 3D space”. I am trying to accomplish this technique with a shot that pans. I assumed that it would be as simple as tracking the camera, however my shot is unsolvable.

Any advice on accomplishing the technique displayed in the example, with a shot that pans?

    Thanks in advanced!

Have you tried tracking points in the shot using the 2D tracker, rather than tracking the camera? If the shot only pans, that should give you something to lock your 2D strokes down with.

2D tracking will not suffice, as there are perspective changes.
