  Parenting Text

  I am trying to do what I thought would be a fairly simply graphic for a package I’m working on for a PBS show. It’s a piece of paper, text types in, paper flips and then text types in again. I’ve got everything figured out except that I can’t figure out how to get the text to flip with the paper, so as to appear that once it’s written it’s actually on the paper. I know After Effects is capable of doing something this simple; it’s just a matter of me not knowing how to tell it to. I am using AE 6.5 Pro. Thanks.

  Have you considered precomposing the text with the paper, then doing the flip?
