  AE 6.5 Crashing on startup

  Does anyone know a valid reason why my normaly trusty AE 6.5 is now crashing on startup? Here’s the deal: I am one of many users of the same computer and we all have seperate loggins and AE works under everyone else’s loggin except mine all of a sudden. I have been using AE on that computer for 2 years with no problem and then one day it just won’t start up without crashing. The error message is (0::42)

  This error caused from the wrong registry, missing path link or your OS system need to reinstalled. Also, if you install more than one AE in the same desktop, you will got this error too. To solve this problem, try to clean and fix registry by some softwares like Registry Cleaner or CC Clear. If still cant solve the problem, try to uninstall clearly, and manually delete the folder AE in you hard disk then repair your system (remember to turn on back-up). Finally, install AE again. I used to got this trouble, and i made it go by this way. Hope you can enjoy the powerful software! 🙂
