  Exporting to MP4 using H.264 displays different colors

  Hi,

  in my current project I am working in an srgb colour space with the option “linearize workflow” enabled.
  My composition looks fine in after effects, but after exporting to mp4 using H.264 Codec, the colours don’t look the same, especially the very lights one.

  

  the image above shows the difference. On the left hand side you see the colours after export and on the right hand side is how the colours look in after effects.

  I am really overasked here and appreciate every kind of help.

  if you’re using Nvidia Graphics card do the following

  1 Right click on desktop and click on “NVIDIA Control Panel”
  2 Go to Video -> Adjust video color settings
  3 Open tab called “Advanced”
  4 Set Dynamic Range to Full 0-255

  I hope this helps, and your renders will look the same as in Adobe After Effects 🙂

  thanks for response! Actually I am on Mac and don’t have an NVIDIA Control Panel…

  I am using an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4096 MB though

  well try to find on internet how to do it on Mac, i’m sure this is giving you problems so have a look on the internet on how to do this on Mac
