    Hello,

I want to see my project interlaced. I do not have a calibrated monitor, but I need to see the moiré issues that the interlacing is causing before I send it over to the Avid team.

    How can I do this?

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks, but this isn’t what I am asking.

I have a project that shows moire when in Avid on a calibrated monitor. I can’t see it in AE orin QT.

I would like to be able to identify the issues.

The question is not about their monitors. Assume that they are looking at them on both. My question is how can I see the moire on my iMac. I have the 4K latest iMac.

Have you tried interpreting the footage as interlaced within AE?

Right-click the file in the project window > Interpret Footage > Main > Set “Separate Fields” to either Upper or Lower.

Its not video. They are tifs.

The monitor they have has an interlaced setting.

All I want to know is after I export the Avid video file is there a way for me see it interlaced?

[Michael Dominic] “after I export the Avid video file is there a way for me see it interlaced”

Import your Avid video file into AE and interpret the footage as interlaced.
