Electromagnetic Stream
Hi everyone, I am trying to create an effect similar to one below. It’s from a TV show called Alphas.

I am somewhat a beginner in After Effects. I do have access to both Trapcode suite and Plexus 2. Any and all help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Particular can generate streams like that.
The best option is to watch the Red Giant tutorials for the product, they cover all the basics, starting from here:

Look up Videocopilot’s free Saber plugin – it can be animated on masks or text or straight lines and it has a lot of animated presets to choose from.
