  Import 3D max file to AE

  Hi. is there any way to import 3D max file to After effects without trouble?
  I’m using AE CS4 and I don’t know which file types they support both.
  and also I have Photoshop 2015.
  my 3D max project is in .RLA format.

  RLA or RPF files import without a problem in AE. Make sure that the settings when you output from Max are what you want – see link:

  The file needs to be converted to 16 bit in 3DS Max. It will need to be re-output:
