cannot export transparent png sequence from particular
my message’s subject told you everything. So i have a white solid layer. above it another one which contains the particular effect. (the effect blows the first white solid away). The emitter layer above of all is automaticly generated by the particular plugin. I just want to export my effect as .png sequence where all the images are transparent where they should be. If I turn transparency grid on, in the second solid layer’s window then it looks just as i wanted, but of course it rendered without transparency. I tried rendering just the alpha channel.
oh, and i must confess that I’m quite a beginner in AE, especially in trapcode particular.
Would somebody be so kind and explain me, how to make a transparent effect with particular plugin. Thank u all!BluesBreaker

You could try this plugin, it’s a freebie download. I haven’t tried it, but it’s supposed to do what you want with a lens-flared layer. Odds are it’ll work the same for a Particular layer. It uses the luminance value to generate an alpha.

I’ve read the manual that was my first step before I came here. And it made me clear which settings are the appropriate, to render a transparent composition. I’ve tried them several times with comps don’t containing particular plugin, and they worked of course:).Sorry, for using the wrong expression in my first comment. I meant rendering of course.
By the way could somebody please explain me, how transparency grip works? THX again, and I’ll try the mentioned plugin! -
