Automatically move one layer position based on size of text layer
Hi there.
I have a name strap designed and it would be ideal if I can get some expressions working on it to simplify the workflow when hundreds of these need to be produced.
I’ve attached an extremely simplified breakdown of it for example purposes.
There are two lines. Line 1 – the top line will be the persons name and Line 2 – the bottom line will be the job of that person. The red object in the example is a design I’m using in the name strap that will fade on and animate on from right to left into position whilst revealing Line 2 as it goes.
The red object animates on from the right edge of Line 2, no matter how long Line 2 is, whether it’s 4 characters in length or 100 characters in length.
It would be great to have an expression that has the red object finish it’s animation at frame 20 always in the same position but that links it’s starting point to the right edge of Line 2 so that when multiple name supers are created, the red object starts it’s animation at the right edge of Line 2 no matter the length of the text layer.
Does that make sense and is this possible?
Many thanks in advance.
